CobraCo SH101 Hand Hammered 100% Copper Fire Tub with Screen and Cover Review
This product is exactly as it's described. Amazon recommends the Veranda canvas cover and I agree it's MUCH better quality than the one that ships with it. The pit itself is nice and deep & sturdy so there is plenty of room for logs without the worry of it tipping over. The copper is a bit thinner than I expected but I'm not sure YET if that matters. Some other reviews mentioned that the mesh cover melts so I've been too chicken to put it on as the fire is blazing. You can't make a decent s'more with the cover on anyway :)

Beautiful, lightweight, and turns a pretty color - Matthew Lakin - Concord, CA
We've had this fire basin for a few months now and love it. There appears to be good air circulation, so the fires burn hot (i.e. good brightness and not too much smoke, although still smoke). The copper also turns a pretty color with burning, but that's true of all copper. I also really like the cover, and have put it on several of our larger and more unwieldy fires with no detrimental effect, as far as I can tell.
Shipping Out the Last Broken Item in Inventory!! - Debra L Dietrichson -
We received this item, shipped in a box which was very manhandled (cardboard was worn and actually had a small perforation in it). Upon opening this box, we discovered that the packing material inside was insufficient to keep the contents from shifting. The fire screen had been perforated by one of the wrought iron legs, and the copper kettle itself had sustained some denting.
We returned the product, only to learn that this was the last one. NOW we understand why it must have been in such poor shape!
Shame on the vendor for shipping out such a damaged piece of goods!

I am delighted with this product. It is sturdy and well made. The screen could fit a bit better. I would still recommend it. Nothing like sitting around a fire pit on a crisp New England night.
